A ce jour, ils sont quatorze challengers, dont trois français, à s'être acquittés des frais d'inscription et à défier ainsi le «defender» américain, Oracle. Une participation sans doute moindre en réalité, puisque certains devraient jeter l'éponge fin avril.

In addition, two further timely challenges were received, and are being vetted by GGYC, but have not yet been accepted.
The above are listed in the order of acceptance per Article 6.4 of the Protocol.
We note Defender/Trustee Memorandum #1 clause 1.9:
Where the Protocol refers to “order of entry” it will be based on the order of receipt of the email to GGYC of documentation per paragraph 1.2 above, provided the documentation is complete when received and the Notice of Challenge (or Application of Defense) is subsequently accepted by GGYC.
Accordingly, where “order of entry” is relevant, the date (and time) of receipt will take precedence over the date of acceptance, affecting only the order of SKYC (KOR) and MFYC (CHN).
This Regatta Notice will be updated as Challengers are publicly announced,
and if the Challengers now being vetted are accepted.
Iain Murray
Regatta Director
